Tile That Tells a Story

January 25, 2010 , ,

Tile by Ann Sacks is anything but dull.  They have managed to take textured tile to the next level with this new Merge collection by Erin Adams.  If you can afford to splurge for Ann Sacks tile, it will be worth it.  They have a range of interesting and unique patterns and colors.  If you are looking to create a bathroom or kitchen accent that your neighbors will be talking about all year, visit your nearest retail showroom.  The closest showroom to Sacramento is San Francisco, but many local tile showrooms carry samples such as Emser Tile in Sacramento.

People sometimes limit where they install tile. Most applications are on floors, showers and back splash areas. With so many tile choices, I find that in designing new spaces, tile can many times be installed on accent walls, ceilings, walkways, Trim and facades. On one of my visits To Portugal, I was astonished at their use of tile. They had tile cabinets, roofs, doors, complete homes in tile and most impressive, a tile boat. I wish i had a picture of the boat to share..Tile away!!
